I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF MY CRITTERS! Just the same as I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE of my family members and friends no matter their color, nationality, spiritual beliefs or whatever.
Each of us are entitled to our opinions on every phase of our lives and I respect others rights to express theirs. But, I am so thrilled to have so many different variations of every living creature in my life that it makes me smile. And, believe me, with my health problems I NEED to smile!
I do appreciate the standard as set forth by the BREED CLUBS and I think that in a few years we will move on to another phase of our breeding. We will never all agree, but we can agree to disagree. |
I couldn't agree more!!!! You have said it well. When I found out Copper was going to be Chocolate, my only hesitation with getting him was health. He is perfectly healthy, and I love his coloring. I cannot believe people actually have put these little precious puppies down because of their color. There are so many people out there who would have given them a loving home. People like me, who just want a loving pet. I appreciate the breed standard, too, but these precious little puppies deserve to live. Even the people at my Vet. love his coloring.
He has been such a comfort to me. It has been a rough year for me. Those little eyes and all that energy have been such good therapy. What a precious gift!
