we got our 2nd one this Christmas. While I'm sure it will get better-be prepared for some sibling rivalry AND DONT GO FOR THE MOST OUTGOING PUPPY-I made this mistake and now the puppy dominates the other dog-she makes the older one miserable, chewing on her, biting at her and barking.
We havent really got to bond w/the new puppy b/c she is just infatuated with my other yorkie. We'll see-but it has been a mess.... my other yorkie ws doing the same thing and I thought, well I'll just get a puppy for company.
I STRONGLY suggest maybe a rescue or a little bit of an older dog -maybe it's just the puppy we have, but it seems so much harder trying to train AND acclimate the dogs. I think it's her personality too. She just has to be into everything and has to be #1.
All of the yt'ers say they will eventually LOVE eachother, but be prepared for time to adjust
