Sounds to me like she's afraid of some good old fashioned competition from someone, obviously you are committed enough to do everything necessary before starting out, who is very likely going to end up with a Class A Show Dog and put her out of business. And I hope you do!
That's a horrible way to welcome someone into the world of Champions. Someone needs to boot her butt clear up above the Artic Circle and out of the competition ring - but send her babies to you to raise where they'll be better off anyway.
