Missy is 12.5 weeks old and only having her for 3 weeks we are still working on training her. She doesn't go out, but instead we have a weewee pad in her cage. When she is confined to her cage while we are at work, she potties on her weewee pad as she should. However, when I come home, I change the weewee pad immediately and over the course of the evening as well as the weekend when we are home all day, I change the weewee pads everytime she goes on them. So what happens then is when she is left out of the cage and free to walk around while we are at home, she goes in a corner of her room and not on the weewee pad. Someone said to leave the soiled weewee pad so that she knows that she should march into her cage and potty in there. I am spending a fortune on weewee pads as sometimes I am replacing them up to 4 times a day, but I can't bear for her to be around her own poop and I don't want to see it either.
Is there any harm in leaving the soiled weewee pad say for an entire day?
