Thanks for your hospitality. Where in the City do you live? I have friends in the City and have traveled there with my job on several occassions.
I'm showing, so I'll be there all 3 days. All 3 days the show starts at 8 in the morning and goes till late afternoon. There are scheduled breaks. The first day is Sweapstakes for YTCA and YTCNY. This is where puppies compete for the best puppy. The 2nd day is Regular Classes for the NY club and 3rd day is YTCA. It's a very fast and intense 3 days of showing and a bit different from an all breed show.....The show is in the Grand Ballroom of the New Yorker (2nd floor). The ring takes up much of the Ballroom with a great deal of space taken up for grooming. There is seating, but I would recommend you come early for a good seat.
What do you mean will anybody else be there.
You will be able to see some of the top yorkies in the country and be able to meet some of the most reputable show breeders from several countries.
Just a bit of advice, since you've never been to a dog show and this is the National Yorkshire Terrier Show....breeders will be very happy to answer your questions after they've been in the ring. While they are grooming and preparing their dogs for the ring, they are very preoccupied, please don't mistake this for being rude...it isn't the case, they are just focused in preparing their dog.
