I find the brush that has the little tiny metal teeth that are shaped like 7's work the best. They really put a good combing on the puppy or dog and that is the kind my groomer uses. It really does well. If the puppy is very timid with the brush, then a brush by Goody that humans use that have brown plastic brisles works wonders too. But the best is the one with the 7's look to the metal teeth on it. It works wonders on mats too.
