Default blindess

It is a dog thing...many are very sensitve to a blind, sick or old dog. Long ago I had a Doxie named Sabrina, she took care of our blind Yorkie, Ming for 7 years of Ming's 14 yrs. When she went blind at 7, Sabrina was her guide dog in the yard. She never left her side when they were outside and walked her around the yard, from the door and back. Everyday Sabrina lead her around the flower beds and shrubs..Ming couldn't see the flowers but because of my faithful Doxie she got to smell them each day. Puppies were bad about pouncing on Ming and it scared her, but Sabrina always barked and chased them away.
Dogs are more caring then most people aren't they?
