well it is all about just doing it
i agree with the night time thing.. when layla had hair.. before her haircut... she got brushed by grandma at night time when she was pooped out and she ended up falling asleep while being brushed.. but until you can get there... maybe have someone hold treats and feed him with TONS Of praise and just doing short little sessions... keep to friendly areas like the back.. layla HATES having her face and paws done.. but it just has to be done
