Zack is a biter too...but I believe he is just playing and will grow out of it someday. (hopefully soon, I have a bandaid on my finger from this morning!)

I've tried just about everything too. I read somewhere that dogs need to play with other puppies so they know what it feels like to be "bitten". If they are taken from their mommies too early and don't socialize very much with other puppies, then you could have a biter on your hands. (no pun intended!)

I also read that if you take your finger and firmly but gently press on the area of their mouths just behind their teeth (on their gums), they will eventually stop biting because it's a sensitive area and an unpleasant experience for them. I tried it with Zack but he kept chewing away.

I have not tried the spray bottle with water...I figured he is already afraid of water and I don't want to traumatize him more.

I hope he grows out of the "mouthy" stage soon or I'm going to have to wear oven mits on my hands. LOL
