Okay, this may seem silly to you all, but we couldn't believe it, we stopped and stayed there for the longest time........

Anyway, we were leaving for the post office this morning (which is a good 30-45minutes away......we travel this road often, but today we seen a wonderful site!!!!

It was a Bald Eagle!!! He/She was huge sitting in the tree - almost camo in it's black and white! We turned the truck around and went back, pulled off the side of the road and just sat there and watched it for awhile. We have only seen one, one other time, while "jeeping". .... but not this close.

The bad thing is, I meant to through my camera in my purse - I always take it, but I was in a hurry and didn't this morning.......so, I MISSED OUT ON SOME GREAT SHOTS!!! Aurghhh......I was so upset!!!

It is one thing to see the Bald Eagle in a zoo or museum, but to actually seen one in the wild, it is just an awesome site!!!
