yeah thats what i was told but it has windows xp on it now, so they said reinstalling windows xp shouldnt give you any problems since it has allready been installed on it. but the original code thats on the bottom is millenium edition, but some time between when they first got it and now someone installed windows xp on it and they didnt put their auth code on the bottom but since it was a school most likely they used the xp version that can be installed on many computers instead of just one. but either way ill end up taking it in so i might as well just do it. i am just trying to figure out some things before i give in and pay 120 dollars times 2. thats crazy. thanks though
