Wow, Cricket is still really groggy and out of it.
Yesterday around 7pm she vomited 3 times in a row. I called the vet and they said this was normal following anesthesia, she hasn't eaten any of her food yet but as of a couple of hours ago has really started to drink. I gave her a little pain pill this morning and her antibiotic as directed by the vet, I concealed it in a little bit of cheesy mett. She devoured it, so I guess she has a little something in her tum-tum. I didn't expect her to still be so "out of sorts" she also seems like she's quite sore...she can hardly bend over to clean her twinkle after she goes potty. I feel so sorry for her! They (the vet techs) said to expect this for 2-3 days following the surgery so it seems to be in the realm of what's normal. I appreciate everyones well wishes and any other recovery stories would be great, does this seem normal to you guys?
