While it does kind of sound too good to be true, the papers clearly say what color each dog is. Even if the person just browsed through the papers it would be obvious what the colors are.
Don't you think if it was a scam they would be asking for more than $35 and $50? I do know plenty of people without a digital camera. Just playing devil's advocate.
