My vet gives my boys their shots in their hind quarter... not in the leg leg, but not the butt either... more in the upper back thigh area... is that where it was? lethargic is normal, my little guy slept the rest of the day when he got his. My bigger guy seemed unaffected by it. depends on the pup I guess. seems the smaller they are, the harder they fall when it comes to vacs!
