It is 630 am here in Mesa AZ, and in a few hours I make the trip to the Animal Referral Hospital --about 1/2 hour. Has been doing better--no loose stools or blood..but I know the problem is hiding inside . He is very unhappy that he has not gotten food this morning, making his little low growls " the I want my food !" noises..

Then he went and took a nap, because Mom would not be giving him anything this morning..

His appt for procedure is at 11:00 am. The weather is cold and rainy, so I will need to keep him warm.

I still suspect IBD or IBS-- maybe colitis.

He is now , the last few days on Venison and Potato by Hills RX diet.. but although that seems good for him, I do not know about the quality.

I have just read about Hills Z/D, which is a hydrolized protein food..very new technology. I will be asking the internist about it.

So strange, he has been on a very good food called Wysong Annergen for 1 1/2 years..he loves it.. very good quality. Its hard to believe he has gotten allergic to it.

Lots of questions.. no real answeres. Many tests done so far..

All your posts bring tears to my eyes..I will let you know what happens today.. I do not know how long he will be there, or the risks of the procedure..
I am scared..
