Awww, I am sure they were upset to find the slip!
We know all of our carriers (UPS and mail), so they leave our packages (unless we have to sign for it - delivery confirmation, etc). OR if I know we are getting a package soon, I just leave a note on the door for a few days, asking them to leave it.
