thank you all for the welcome homes for Princess Gwen
im sorry i was in a hurry when i last posted, it was hectic and had to get to the vet or wait 3 days for an appointment which we didnt wanna do.
ok, now for the vet visit, I know you are all wondering how she is so I will tell you what the vet said. gwen weighs 3 pounds. you all knew about the leg that didnt move and was like that since birth, well her other rear leg has lp grade 3...the vet said since she is so small, as long as she doesnt get fat she should be ok...but no guarentees.
she has white spots on her eyes that we can see without the light the vet used.( the vet said it was from cornea ulsers that did not heal.)
) there is a mucus out of her eyes, that the vet said if her eyes are kept clean and with the meds we got for her that should get better.
her teeth are 75% covered in black/brown tarter. vet said brush them daily for now till she is settled in then we can talk about care for that. she also has tape worms ( they were in her hair on her back end) which she got meds for also.
since we didnt have a poop sample they went in and got a little, but when she does poop we have to take more in so they can check it better. they only got a smear..vet said not enough to check for everything , so its keep her away from the other dogs for a while.
Gwen is such a sweet little girl, I am pup sitting tonight so she will be getting a bath and groomed .
she is a little love bug. and will get alot of love here with me, and with my daughter, and the care that she needs to be the healthy happy little princess that she is

she is curled up in my lap asleep as i type

I will take more pics after she is bathed and brushed ( she is matted, glad i got cowboy magic the other day)
