Default We're moving-any advice?

We did it! We bought our first home! We're getting ready to move into a new (to us!) house in 2 weeks. It's a 2-story with mostly wood floors, and a great big backyard that's already fenced in.

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with their yorkies when transitioning into a new home. I know Emma will LOVE the yard-she's visited there once before, and has been in the house once, as it's currently vacant.
We're coming from a 1,000 sq. ft condo-not huge, but not tiny either, and Emma has the run of the space when we're home. Should I let her have the run of the house when we're home? Should I worry about her being in a different room/level than where we are?

What about potty training? My husband wants her to start going potty outside now that we have a yard. I think she should keep going on wee wee pads since she's already trained that way, and we'll need her to use them when we're gone during the day and at night. I know it's possible to train both ways-right now she WILL go potty outside if we're on a walk, and has no problem doing so at her daycare. I haven't decided where to put the pads yet either-do I need one on each level, or just one spot? Will anyone else's yorkie go all the way up or downstairs to potty?

Also, what about the floors? She usually avoids running on our wood kitchen floor of our condo-but now in the new house almost all the floors are wood-will she freak out, or will she adapt to not having traction?

Our behaviorist told us that we need to leave her alone right away in the new house, once she gets a little acclimated to the space. She said that this will help with her separation anxiety issues, so we plan to leave her right away next weekend, just for a few minutes at a time. I hope she feels nice and safe there!

Any advice/thoughts is appreciated!
