 Distemper Shot Problem
Hi there! I got my second yorkie last night, Johnny Walker, and he had his first shot today at my vet. She gave him it in his leg and now he won't walk on it and is just sleeping. I don't remember ever seeing any vaccines going into a leg - I thought they always were on the back of their necks! I'm a little worried, but I know he is probably lethargic from the shot - he also got kennel cough and a worming. I called the vet and she said that he should be okay, just look out for any swelling or vomiting. Nothing yet, thank god. Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks!!! |
