I am giving Chloe chicken and beef four times a day (she is pooping like a great dane) but she does look a little gaunt. I am also giving her TUMS. I am trying that method someone suggested of moving the bigger ones out for about 15 minutes and letting the little ones nurse. They are gaining about 10 grams a day (sorry, don't know what that is in ounces...) but at least they are gaining. Chloe kept moving them around all night, and obviously didn't care for the cardboard box (with baby blanket) she kept chewing holes in it and yesterday I came home from work to find ALL the babies in my bed!! So now we moved her to the linen closet and she seems content "huh, finally got my own room" she says... I am weighing them every night. Will send pics as soon as camera comes home from repair shop (yes, my BRAND NEW DIGITAL CAMERA!!) is already broken because son #1 didn't know how to get the flash to pop up so he used a fork-popped up forever.(gotta post that sign of sending kids for slavery...) I think you know more that my vet, more experience, if I give supplement milk, how much, and to use a syringe or bottle?? |
