The world is a better place because of people like you and your husband. What an awesome thing you are doing for all those poor creatures who would have probably died in pain if it hadn't been for you. Have you talked to any local or even national business that might be willing to donate food or supplies to you. So much stuff gets thrown away when there are uses for it. Or maybe get a non-profit business license. That might save you some in the things you do have to purchase. I commend you for what you are doing.
