You will want to feed them as late as possible. You could also allow Mama to sleep with them at night. Don't let Mama in there with them, until their bellies are really full. Maybe then, they will be content to sleep instead of the latch attack. Mama in there with them will keep them calm and secure. She will also need her much needed rest too. So, just make sure their tummies are full.
