THe vet gave us a free bag of Hill's puppy food. I had no intentions of using it BUT.. I didn't realize it but we had run out of our normal puppy food. Since we were so busy I told my daughter to give her some of the Hills' till I could get out and get her regular food. Normally I would have just gone and bought her some more but we have been REALLY busy this week getting ready for competition. Anyway to make a long story short Keira has been on this food for about 3 days. Her poop has been just fine! The only problem is that she poops ALL the time!!! We filled her bowel up yesterday before we left that morning. We were gone just about all day! When I got home she had eaten all of her food and most of her water. We take her out and she poops. 35 min later she poops again. ANOTHER 30 min goes by and she poops AGAIN! Mind you they are all solid and she hadn't had anything else to eat since it was late. She had already eaten about 1/2 a cup. That is more than Diesel eats most of the time.
She is normally on Lamb and rice nutro for pups. She still poops a lot. Is it the food or is she just gonna be a pooper? I know dogs have to poop but you guys have no idea how much she poops. It is never runny always nice and firm
. I have just never seen a dog that was 3.5 pounds poop as much as she weighs! LOL
