Confused

This is The Quick Spoon's wife......I guess that I need to get my own account as well. But I just wanted to add to this thread, that we've been facing the same dilema with our little Ender. We gave him the inrta-nasal bortatella vacine. BIG MISTAKE! From that point on he's been coughing, snoring at night, reverse sneezing, snorting periodically during the day, has smelly discharge coming from his eyes, etc. We've tried just about everything that we can think of....a lot of which was information from all of you on this site ....we've done the humidifier, benedril, antibiotics, nose/eye drops from PetMeds.com (which was the most successfull that we've encountered). The most recent that we've done is our vet recommended that we give Ender a steriod shot. He told us that if Ender's symptoms were "alergies" that the shot would alleviate the symptoms that Ender has had since the vacine. We did the shot, and it didn't help. Which now, according to our vet means that he may have some kind of intra-nasal infection (a fungus) and would need to go inside the nasal cavity, get a culture, and run tests on it, and go from their. Which, of course, is a very expensive procedure. I guess the point that I am trying to get at, to be wary of intra-nasal vacinations (a regular shot is available for the bortetella). And anyone that has any success in overcoming this problem, we're open to suggestions.
