You're going to have to make a tough decision either way. I wish you the best. I wish I could offer some advice. I can however offer you a perspective from the other side. We got an adult dog, and he brought SO much joy to our house. We got him from a member on YT so in order to protect their privacy, I'll just say that since we've had him he has blossomed SO much. He is such a joy and he is so loved my my family. I'm sure it was really hard for his old family to give him away, but I think they chose a very compatible family, and now we are all benefitting.
