You're not wrong. Neither is he, though. We lost our Starr and my husband insisted on getting another puppy immediately
I did not WANT another dog, I wanted my Starr back
Well, we ended up getting Luna and she really did help my heart heal. Just be careful to find a great breeder and hopefully you'll get a baby that has no major medical issues. If you search my username, you'll find my posts about Starr and getting Luna, etc.
