Hey Kimberley, I feel your pain on those tiny rubber bands. Geez...........but I got these really bright ones from Walmart (or Target) and those don't stretch well, but then I bought some white (clear) ones and some pastel ones that really will stretch and that makes it sooooo much easier. I didn't think I was ever going these ponies down, and would have to cut Carley's hair, but with these stretchy ones and some practice, it has gotten much better!!
