I went to step to go down my stairs and i stepped on one of my son's toys and rolled my foot and ankle it make this sick snapping sound and i fell almost going down the stairs I called my mom and had to go to the emergency room i thought for sure it was broken. I hade a huge swelling bump about the size of an egg on the top of my foot. They finally got me back to x-rays and seen it wasn't broke thank goodness but the doctor said he was very concerned about the lump i had an also the sound it made when i fell he thinks i tore my liaments in my foot and ankle which might require surgery
they put me in a immobilizing splint for 2 weeks i have to see how it heals and go back. I am so mad at myself right now if i wasn't in such a hurry to do things this prob never would have happened. now my poor mom has to come over everyday to help me take care of my kids and the dogs because i can't walk i feel so useless! My foot hurts so freaking bad i'm just hoping for a good recovery and no surgery.
