she is 16 weeks old. i took her for her first grooming yesterday and told them an inch all over the body but I didn't want the full teddy face. so I told them to thin it out around the muzzle and they did. I think it looks great.
the way I do hers is with a nylon band and then put the clip in. it will stay that way all day. if I do just the band..it will stay pretty good for most of the day as well. I can't do just the clip, it will be out in 5 minutes.
so I double it up
plus, those clips are so tiny, I find it hard to get them in without banding it first.
