 Good food to help Weight Gain?
Hello,
I just got a new litle girl today, she's seven months old. She is so skinny. You can feel her backbone and hip bones and ribs. She weighs 3.4 pounds, and is about the same size as my boy that weighs 4.5 or 5 pounds. The lady I got her from told me she weighed 4.3, but she doesn't.
The lady said she was used to eating Science Diet Puppy food small bite. I got her a bag of it, even though I know it's not a good food so that I could adjust her over slowly. I'm going to put her on Nutro natural puppy food when the switch is done, but are there any treats or food I can give her that are high fat? She doesn't look bad because of all the hair, but she's so bony. She seems healthy, her coat is in great shape. She's got a vet appointment for Tuesday to get some baby teeth removed, so we are going to get her a good check up then.
