Oh how exciting ! Congrats! I've never had a pup shipped to me but I am shipping my first pup in March.
How long is your pups flight?
My breeding mentor has shipped 48 pups in her 30 years of breeding and has never had any problems.
I personaly, would open up that kennel as soon as I could and hold her/him.
