Not to rule out constipation, but Reesie and Abbie goes nutts if they have what we call a hanger. We all know it because they run around in circles sometimes will yelp if they can't get it off. My girls hardly give their poop time to hit the ground before they are racing away from it. My girlfriend says that her yorkie will lay on his back and won't move if he has poop hanging or caught in his hair. She has to get it off before he will get up.
