It can be really hard to introduce new dogs to each other. Did you introduce them on nutural ground when you brought the new puppy home? Six weeks ago is not a very long time and both of the dogs may just be adjusting to one another. A lot of times, one of the dogs will take the more submissive role and the other the dominant one and things will be okay.. but they both really need to know that YOU are the head "dog".

I have two females and a male... they're all under a year. The male was here first and adjusted fine to his new little sister Emma. Emma had a harder time adjusting to Lula..I think some females just don't like other females.

I'd look into hiring a behaviorist before it gets out of control. Puppy Preschool is GREAT.. but it doesn't really correct issues such as dominance and aggression towards other dogs. You might need a professional to help you in that area.

Good luck! I'm sure things will work out!
