Here in Texas, those dang fire ants are in love with the heat. We use Over and Out, all in the flower beds and next to the house. We have St.Augustine grass, so they aren't a problem in the lawn, but oh do they like the flower beds. When Maggie goes out, she is not allowed in the flower beds. I really do believe she would dig up a tree, if we let her. We do have a problem with moles, and she is always on mole patrol. Anyway, Over and Out works great.
