Interesting that it would be when you are stepping from the shower. It has happened for me then too. It must be just the way we turn to lift our bodies over the tub or reaching a little extra for the towel.

For me, some moist heat and rest for the hurting part helps. Take some NSAIDs if you can. I turn my heating pad up and put a hot moist hand towel over the owie, lay a plastic bag over the towel and put the heating pad over that. It you can stand to lay on the heating pad, you will get more comfort from the heat. The big thing is to use the injured joint as little as possible until is settles down.

Hope this helps you. You may want to call your Dr. too and let him know this happened if you are scheduled for surgery soon. Otherwise, it could probably wait 'til your next appointment or telephone call. But if it doesn't get at least some better in a day, I would certainly call him.

Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you what are NSAIDs?? I do have a dr app at 11:15 and i have not scheduled surgery yet. I'm try to put it off till summer. The sneeze is what started it all

Thank you,
Lori
