Best advise is to talk with your vet. This could be a food allergy, flea allergy, scabies, or something metabolic that is causing the alopecia. For sure it is not normal. Check your dog's food and make sure it does not contain any corn or wheat. Rice is the best grain. Let us know what the vet says and how your baby is doing. I hope you find the cause soon!
