Remember this. Cats learn to "live up". I did not understand what my friend meant by that until I experienced it. If your kitten does not like what your Yorkie is doing, your kitten will get to high ground (a chair, a counter top, a table). If your kitten is scared, it will hide in a place that the Yorkie cannot go, like under the sofa. Gracie loves to chase and bark at her four kitty brothers and sisters. Often times, the cats taunt her into doing it. It is a game, and good exercise for all. An ex-pen works great to secure the pup when you can't be around. Let them have at it. Your kitten can take better care of itself than you give it credit for. And have fun watching the games they play!
