I suggest following the amount show on the back of the puppy food. My vet and trainer told me that the amount they display is even higher than you should feed them! Some people just give a HUGE bowl of food to their puppies and let them eat as they please. My vet told me not to do this and to follow the amount shown behind the food. To give you an idea, my yorkie is a little of 6 months and is 11 pounds! I feed him 1 cup a day. It was less when he was younger though. He is big and 1 cup is enough of Royal Canine. Good luck!
