3 years ago i had a rescue and one of my own that had pain like this after injections. Now my vet puts an antiflamatory in with the injection for each of mine. Some dogs have reactions similar to what you are experiencing and some don't. To be on the safe side the extra money for the antinflamatory med is worth it to not see my kids in pain.
