Motrin and Advil helps the pain but it make you bleed more. 800 mg of motrin is only supposed to be given every 6 hours. You are taking way too much. It is not good on your stomach and it will thin your blood and make you bleed more. SO don't take more than you are supposed to because it wont help the pain any better and it is too dangerous. Don't ever take too much tylenol either, it will cause liver failure. I have known people to overdose on tylenol and die and those who didn't die ended up with a liver transplant. And the hospital probably didn't given you anything for pain because you were driving yourself and the only other thing they could give would be a shot of Toradol but since you already had taken motrin they probably didn't want to give you that either.
