I completely agree with that...
I use to have a Pomeranian who was Hypoglycemic and I put a spoon full of sugar in his water every day (as per my vet's instructions) and it kept him from having episodes. The first time I discovered it he was laying in the floor, almost stiff, I thought he was dead. At the vets they gave him sime sugar water and he bounced right back up.
