Hello friends. Today was not a good day for Mom. She got up at 8 to use the bathroom and when I heard her up, I just got the bedroom door open when I heard her fall in the bathroom. Scared me half to death. She was okay, but I couldn't get her lifted up. I called the police and asked if an officer could come help and got a rude lady that said they could only send an ambulance. Mom didn't want that, so I said we'd deal with it ourselves. I then got ahold of my sis and she sent my BIL down. I sat with my back to Mom so she could lean on me until he got there. She was so tired and weak today from that ordeal. We took her to the hospital for an ultrasound of her ankle which is very swollen. That was to make sure it wasn't a blood clot, which it wasn't. We got a baby monitor so we can hear her and help her to the bathroom at night. Just can't chance her falling again. I'm home tonight and my sister is with her. Tomorrow is the appt with the oncologist. Please pray for a positive outcome from that visit.
