 Kitten advice
Hi everyone.
I would like to ask for advice from those of you who already had cat(s) when you purchased your Yorkie. How did you handle the introduction? Is there anything special you did to make sure that they get along? My kitten is not aggressive, she is the sweetest thing ever and I feel so bad for her because Remy (my new puppy) keeps chasing her around the house - I cannot let him loose in the same room with her because he immediately starts running after her. She can't have a moment of peace with him.
I have tried a number of things to get them acquainted - had mom hold Alisa (the kitten), while I held Remy. When we do that, they sniff each other and all is fine, since I restrain him to keep him from scaring her. We tried this many, many, many times, all without any results. He still chases her nonstop. When he is in his playpen, she likes to sit in front of it and watch him. When he sees her, he starts jumping at her and sometimes barking, scaring her once again.
Don't really know what more I can do. Please advice!
