If you can afford to get them, do so. Then take them to the vet & if they have to pay for any vet bills, make sure they pay through the nose & get the puppies well and in new homes. If your dad would take the lab, he wouldn't have to be around yours and I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble getting someone to take that darling little chi. The tiny ones are usually easier to find a home for than the big dogs. Good luck to you & them. God bless you & you need to give your husband a great big hug for being so kind.
