Bungee jumping scares me because of the whiplash effect, but I did go skydiving two years ago in Las Vegas (outside Vegas). It was pretty fun, and quite a rush when you are freefalling, which is the part before they pull the parachute, and definitely the best part! If you go with a professional and a good company, it is pretty safe, as you have to go tandem with someone else and they do pack two parachutes (one main, one reserve). For me, I think once is enough. I just wanted to try it out after a few friends raved about it.
When I was at the skydiving place, there was like 20 people signed up around the same time as me. I think 10 of them ended up not doing it.
