I completly sympathize with you as I'm in a similar boat with my hours at work. It is a good idea and helps but this one big pitfall that you need to be aware of: dogs are very adept at having seperate rules for seperate place and seperate people. Everything your dog learns at "school" will still need to be reinforced at home and BY YOU!
