Have you thought about what you might be taking on? Your male can very well become a marker and you will lose your family pet. Most responsibe breeders that I know, would not use an strange, unproven male. What size are his ancestors? What health testing has he had? Has there been any of the major genetic problems in his family? PSS? LCP disease? LP's? cardiac problems? skin disease or allergies? The owner of the female is taking major chances in breeding a female and there are always chances for really sad outcomes. I would suggest that you ask your dog's breeder if you could use him with one of their unrelated females.. |
