 I agree with the Ex-Pen!!!
I wish I had purchased an ex-pen. I have a different type of indoor/out pen I purchased at Amazon. It is rather nice, with removable velcro-type side panels for laundering, but it is gapped around the bottom leaving room for my litter to get out. This will be great for my adults (it folds down stacking about 4 inches high and good for visits on the farm, camping, picnics...) but not good for my litter. The ex-pen would provide better service for a pup, I would think. I have used playpens in the past, but what a pain I found it to be! Cleaning was (to me) a back-breaking chore and the pad that is in the bottom became a chew toy and a urine sponge. I need to purchase one of those 'puppy pad holder trays' which might help in that department. Also, as a little hint, I am utilizing the disposable vinyl table clothes as floor portection in my pen and wanted to pass this on as a great hint for clean-up! Go with the ex-pen! Hope this helps. |
