I totally agree with Butterfly............that is a VERY big puppy and will end up weighing at least 20 pounds, so a play pen isn't a practical investment unless it's very cheap at a garage sale. I would invest in the doggie fencing. This way you can hook it to each side of the wire crate, (crate on the outside of the fenced area) attach a water bottle to the side, lay wee-wee pad at the opposite end of the bed, cover the crate with a blanket to make it feel more like a safe little cave, and add some toys and chews. This is how I did both Zada and Azrael and it was wonderful. It's also where Zada recouped from knee surgery. The fence is wonderful. You can take anywhere and set it up like a play area. Great investment!
