A friend of mine has a puppy who is allergic to chicken. She is trying different foods to see which one is best for her puppy. There are different types of dog foods that don't contain chicken as their primary meat source so you don't necessarily have to cook meals for them. She tried one with beef as the primary source, and I also gave her some of Max and Abbie's food to try (california natural lamb meal and rice), which has lamb meal as the only meat source.
